# Aurora Game Booster Terms of Use

Updated: 2026-07-29

## Scope

These terms apply to Aurora Game Booster distributed by Benny Cohen through
Microsoft Store. Microsoft Store purchases are also subject to Microsoft's terms,
policies, licensing rules, and purchase entitlement.

By installing or using Aurora, you confirm that you are authorized to make changes
to the Windows PC and accept these terms.

## What Aurora does

Aurora previews supported Windows gaming-related settings, creates backups for
supported changes, applies selected user-level optimizations, verifies current
values, and provides undo where supported. It also provides RAM/process monitoring
and NVIDIA/AMD guidance.

Results depend on the PC, Windows version, hardware, drivers, games, and existing
settings. Aurora does not guarantee a particular FPS increase, latency reduction,
or other performance improvement.

## Store edition limits

The Advanced Microsoft Store candidate can request Administrator approval for HAGS,
Ultimate Performance, and supported NVIDIA Profile Inspector automation. Microsoft
must approve this restricted capability before that edition can be released. A
Standard fallback may omit these advanced features.

Neither Store variant disables Core Isolation/Memory Integrity. Driver and firmware
updates remain the user's responsibility.

## License and permitted use

The Microsoft Store grants the purchase/install entitlement under its applicable
license terms. You may use Aurora for personal or internal business use on devices
allowed by that entitlement. You may not sell, repackage, mirror, sublicense, or
present Aurora as your own product.

Do not attempt to bypass Store entitlement, distribute modified packages, or use
Aurora to access a PC without authorization. Rights that cannot lawfully be
restricted remain unaffected.

## Safe use

- Review planned changes before applying them.
- Save important work and maintain normal system/file backups.
- Do not disable Smart App Control, Microsoft Defender, or another protection just
  to install Aurora.
- Stop using Aurora and contact support if an action produces an unexpected result.

Aurora's registry backup and undo cover only supported Aurora-managed changes. They
are not a complete PC backup or a replacement for Windows recovery tools.

## Updates and availability

Aurora may be updated, changed, paused, or withdrawn. Microsoft Store controls Store
delivery and updates. Support is provided on a reasonable-effort basis; no guaranteed
response or resolution time is promised unless stated separately in writing.

## Warranty and liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights or remedies that
cannot legally be excluded, including applicable rights under New Zealand consumer
law. Subject to those rights, Aurora is provided without promises beyond the product
description, and Benny Cohen is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss
to the extent permitted by law.

## Refunds and privacy
