# Aurora Game Booster Privacy Notice

## Summary

Aurora Game Booster runs locally on the Windows PC. The current Store build does not
include an Aurora account, advertising, third-party analytics, telemetry, crash-
report upload, or automatic upload of logs/backups.

Microsoft Store separately handles Microsoft accounts, purchases, downloads,
licensing/entitlement, updates, and Store analytics under Microsoft's own privacy
terms. Aurora does not directly receive or store payment-card details.

## Information used locally

Aurora reads local information needed for its functions, including:

- memory usage and running process names;
- Windows version and supported gaming-setting values;
- power-plan state;
- GPU model, installed driver version/date, and device status;
- local Aurora configuration, logs, and backup state.

This information is displayed or processed locally. Aurora does not automatically
transmit it to Benny Cohen or another service.

## Local files

The Store edition may create logs, settings, and supported registry-backup files
under `%LOCALAPPDATA%\AuroraGameBooster`. These files may contain process names,
local paths, Windows setting names, and system state.

You control these local files and may delete them after closing Aurora, subject to
retaining any backup you may need for undo. Uninstall behavior may be controlled by
Windows/Microsoft Store and should be tested before release.

## Support information

Aurora collects support information only when you choose to email or submit it.
This may include your email address, message, screenshots, hardware/driver details,
and sanitized log excerpts. Send only what is necessary and remove unrelated
personal information.

Support information is used to answer the request, diagnose faults, improve Aurora,
and keep reasonable business/support records. It is not sold. It may be processed
by the email or issue-tracking provider used to receive the request. You may ask for
access, correction, or deletion by contacting the address below, subject to legal
record-retention obligations.

## External pages

Buttons may open Microsoft, NVIDIA, AMD, GitHub, or other documented support pages
in the default browser. Those sites apply their own privacy policies. Opening a page
does not automatically upload Aurora logs or backups.

## Changes

This notice must be updated before adding accounts, license servers, telemetry,
crash reporting, analytics, advertising, or automatic data upload. Material changes
will be reflected by changing the updated date and publishing the current notice.
