# AddVenture — Privacy Policy

AddVenture is a mental maths game for children aged 8–11, published by Benny
Cohen.

This policy is short because the app does very little that concerns privacy.

## The short version

**AddVenture does not collect any personal information. Nothing you or your
child does in the app is transmitted anywhere. There are no accounts, no
advertising, and no analytics.**

## What is stored, and where

AddVenture saves your child's progress — which strategies they have learned,
their results, and their game state — **on the device itself**, using the
browser or app's local storage.

This information:

- never leaves the device
- is never sent to us or to anyone else
- is not linked to a name, email address, or any account
- is deleted when the app is uninstalled, or when you use the reset option
  inside the app

## What we do not do

AddVenture contains:

- **No user accounts.** Nothing to sign up for, no login, no password.
- **No advertising**, and no advertising or tracking SDKs of any kind.
- **No analytics or telemetry.** We do not measure how the app is used.
- **No third-party services** receiving data from the app.
- **No chat, messaging, or social features**, so children cannot communicate
  with anyone through the app.
- **No in-app purchases.**
- **No location access, camera, microphone, or contacts access.**

## The parent dashboard

AddVenture includes a dashboard for parents showing their child's progress.
This reads the same locally stored data described above.

It offers an option to copy that progress summary to your device's clipboard so
you can save or share it yourself. That action only happens when you choose it,
and the data goes to your clipboard — not to us.

## Children's privacy

AddVenture is intended for children. Because the app collects no personal
information at all, there is nothing for us to store, share, sell, or expose.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, of any age,
because the app has no mechanism to collect it.

## Network use

Once installed, AddVenture works completely offline.

Depending on how you obtained the app, it may contact the address it was
installed from in order to download updates to the game itself. These requests
retrieve game files. They do not send information about you or your child.

## Purchases

If you bought AddVenture through the Microsoft Store or Google Play, that
purchase is handled entirely by Microsoft or Google under their own privacy
policies. We never receive your payment details.

## Changes to this policy

If a future version of AddVenture changes what it stores or sends, this policy
will be updated before that version is released, and the date at the top will
change.
